Our Mobile Petting Zoo will come to you!
We service the central Alberta area, bringing our friendly and well-cared-for farm animals to your event! Great for corporate functions, church events+nativities, rodeos, birthday parties, town festivals, and more! Farm visits are also available by appointment.
All of our animals receive quality care from certified veterinarians, are up to date on their vaccinations and are kept on a deworming and animal-specific health program, which includes hoof/nail trimming, dental care, vitamins and supplements, quality feed and more.
Alberta Petting Zoo is located on an an 80 acre farm near Redwater AB, where the animals have their own spacious paddocks to run and play in when they are not visiting events. We strive to keep their lives enriched and fun, and their health and happiness is our #1 priority. At our mobile events, our petting zoo animals are constantly monitored for signs of stress or fatigue, and we provide a private space for them to relax away from the guests should they need it.
For the safety and happiness of our animals, we do not allow guests to pick up or carry them - even babies.
Our petting zoo animals include miniature ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep, alpacas, pot-bellied pigs, cows, rabbits, chickens, turkeys and ducks. Please note that some of our more sensitive animals (birds/rabbits) may not be available to attend petting zoo's in the winter to protect their health.
At Alberta Petting Zoo we are in regular contact with the Edmonton Animal Care & Control to ensure that our animals, facilities, and events meet and exceed the bylaw standards. We also follow the guidelines set forth by Albert Health Services.
